Presented by the largest Home Builders Association in the country this FIRST CLASS expo has something for everyone.  By attending the 21st Century Building Expo & Conference, you are guaranteed the opportunity to become more successful in your business.

Created 13 years ago to offer exhibits and an educational conference of the same quality as the NAHB International Builders' Show (IBS), while allowing attendees the flexibility of staying close to their businesses and limiting travel time and the expense of out-of-state shows.

The exhibit booths will enable you to talk face-to-face with company representatives showcasing the latest cutting edge products and services in our industry on September 16-17.  Lots of new exhibitors this year!

The three-day educational conference offers a top-notch seminar schedule featuring the same programs found at IBS. Our general session seminars will discuss new sales and marketing techniques, energy efficiency programs, remodeling techniques, building technology and much more.

Courses through both the North Carolina Builder Institute and NAHB Education offer many opportunities to achieve a professional designation. We will offer the courses required for the Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist designation programs, as well as one course for the Master Certified Green Professional designation.The educational programs are chosen and structured so that there are seminars for everyone in the office--from the superintendent to the secretary! Close the office and bring everyone to Charlotte. What you will learn will more than pay for your trip! We’ve lined up many new speakers this year to constantly enhance the educational conference.

New this year is The Design House, offering seminars and hands-on workshops to keep home builders up-to-date on the latest design trends and customer preferences. Builders and remodelers will go back to their offices with tangible ideas for changing or updating current building plans, making selections and more! In the workshops, builders can sit one-on-one for free advice from professionals. Make sure to bring your building plans with you or bring your iPad/laptop.

The STARS Awards Gala recognizing the outstanding achievements of the industry's professional will be held on Wednesday beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Charlotte Convention Center.

Join us for the Kick-off Celebration from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15. Everyone is invited to attend and the beer is FREE. We’re serving craft beer from the Charlotte area this year, along with snacks!  Join us after your class or after work for a beer!

Lunch ‘N’ Learn - The Next Wave is Here! Millennials Set to Shake Up Housing Industry. Presented by TV personality Vicki Payne. $15 per person on September 16 from 12:30 – 1:30 PM.
